A New York City police officer was fired in Midtown Manhattan on Monday Evening confirmed police.
The police said they responded to a sheet of the sheet, before 6: 14 pm to 345 Park Ave. They said at least one officer was injured in a fight to that locality. The area has been blocked and the building had been evacuated, CBS New York has learned.
NYPD and Mayor Eric Adams asked the public to avoid the carnity of 52nd Street between the Avenue Park and Lexington Avenue.
“New Yorkers: There is an active pull investigation. Please take security precautions. If you are near the park and 51t Road.” Adams wrote on social media.
